Refund and Cancellation Policy
Information about subscription billing, cancellations, refunds, and data access for TrustMinutes.
1. Subscription Plans and Billing
TrustMinutes offers a Free plan at no cost and a Professional plan available with monthly or annual billing. Annual billing provides a savings equivalent to two free months compared to the monthly rate. All paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe, our payment processor. Your billing date corresponds to the date your subscription begins and renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled.
2. Canceling Your Subscription
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. There are no cancellation fees. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain full access to all paid features until that period ends. We do not provide partial refunds for unused time within a billing cycle.
3. Refund Policy
7-day satisfaction guarantee. All TrustMinutes purchases — including the one-time export pass ($4.99), monthly subscriptions, and annual subscriptions — are backed by a 7-day satisfaction guarantee. If you’re not happy for any reason, email us at [email protected] within 7 days of your purchase and we’ll issue a full refund — no questions asked.
After 7 days, all sales are final. Refund requests made more than 7 days after a purchase will not be honored. You may still cancel your subscription at any time to stop future recurring charges; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you retain access until then.
Exception for billing errors: If you were charged accidentally or in duplicate, contact us at [email protected] within 30 days of the charge. We will investigate the issue and issue a refund for confirmed billing errors.
4. Upgrades and Downgrades
You may change your subscription plan at any time from your account settings. Upgrades take effect immediately, with a prorated charge for the difference in price for the remainder of your current billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You retain your current plan features until the downgrade becomes active.
5. Data Access After Cancellation
We provide a grace period after cancellation so you can retrieve your documents and data:
- 0 to 30 days after cancellation: Full read and export access to all your documents and account data.
- 31 to 90 days after cancellation: Your account is deactivated but can be reactivated by contacting support. No new document generation is available during this period.
- After 90 days: Your account and associated data are permanently deleted or anonymized. Recovery is not possible after this point.
We strongly recommend exporting all documents and data you wish to retain before your subscription ends. We are not responsible for data that is deleted after the 90-day grace period.
6. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect or unauthorized, please contact us at [email protected] before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. We are committed to resolving billing concerns directly and promptly. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in account suspension while the dispute is investigated.
7. How to Cancel or Request a Refund
To cancel your subscription, log in to your account and navigate to Settings, then Subscription. Follow the prompts to cancel. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. For billing errors or refund requests related to accidental or duplicate charges, email us at [email protected] with your account information and a description of the issue. We will respond within 1 to 2 business days.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
